# MIVA SuperToken

The Minerva Wallet SuperToken (MIVA token) is an ERC-20 compatible governance token for the Minerva Wallet DAO.  

The MIVA token can be freely transferred between accounts and exchanged for other assets on the [Gnosis Chain](https://xdaichain.com) as well as moved to other chains via established bridges. More on bridges can be found [here](https://docs.tokenbridge.net/).

With various incentive, funding and rewarding programs the circulating supply will be gradually increased over time  and will depend on capital needs and the growth in monthly active users of the Minerva Wallet. 

MIVA token holders will be eligible to vote in the Minerva Wallet DAO and help defining the future course of this wallet and how can access particular services and features. 

Such use cases could be: 

* Premium features access
* Special recovery service
* Discounts on swaps
* Discounts on crypto purchases
* Transaction fee payment
* Prioritized personal support
* Feature voting rights

### MIVA SuperToken - Tokenomics

The largest portions of the token supply are reserved for the community treasury (30%) and for funding & grants (30%) in order to scale up the token economics for the Minerva Wallet. The core contributors will receive in total 15% of MIVA tokens in line with a vesting strategy through streaming and for users and the ecosystem, 10% and 15% are reserved respectively.

The current (April 20th, 2022) circulating supply is: 8,059,525.54 MIVA (0,81% of total supply)
